2009 年度旅行攝影師獎 Travel Photographer of the Year 公佈，今年的優勝者由孟加拉攝影師 G.M.B Akash 獲得。

G.M.B Akash 簡介：
Akash 生於 1977 年
Akash 攝影始於 1996 年
Pathshala 新聞攝影學士學位
曾獲得 40 多個國際獎項作品
曾入選 50 多個主要國際出版物
包括：Time、Sunday Times、Newsweek、Geo、Stern、Der Spiegel、Brand Ein 等等
2002 年，在孟加拉第一個被世界新聞攝影大師 Joop Swart 看中
2004 年，獲得了青年記者獎
2005 年， awarded Best of Show at the Center for Fine Art Photography’s international competition
2006 年，獲得世界新聞攝影獎，並發表了他的第一本書
2007 年，他再次成為美國新聞雜誌 30 位新興攝影師
2009 年，他贏得瑞士第七沃韋國際攝影贈款
2009 年，Akash 贏得國際最負盛名的旅遊攝影獎
