Rebel Hosting E3-1230 16GB 獨立伺服器評測

Rebel Hosting 是一家美國西岸的老商家，有自己的機房，位於加州的薩克拉門托市，專營獨立伺服器託管服務。在美國西岸可以找到客服服務不錯，回覆速度快，又有自己的機房的便宜獨服，真的不多見。

要買便宜的獨立伺服器，除了美國中部的堪薩斯城屬 Joe’s Datacenter 及 Wholesale 最便宜，10 美元就可以有台二手 Core2Duo 獨服來當鍊手。

如果要對台灣的網路好、價格又不要太高，當然希望可以用到加州的託管商 Rebel Hosting。雖然不是全新的伺服器，商家也只使用 Dell 及 Supermicro 伺服器，下訂單後 24 小時內上機。站長原本下單一台 CPU Xeon X3470 / 12GB RAM 的服務器，不知為何最後升級到 CPU E3-1230 / 8 CPU Core / 16GB RAM 的服務器給我，可能臨時沒貨吧。

使用獨立伺服器，最怕的是硬件損壞，及託管商維修的速度，因為價格的關係，不可能把硬碟做到 RAID 10 的等級，所以硬碟不幸壞了，裡面的資料也就沒有了，託管商只是會換上一顆新硬碟，所以異地備份資料的功課一定要做好，避免資料遺失的悲劇發生。

使用獨立伺服器，不拿來切小雞來賣，也不做託管生意，多 CPU 核心及高記憶體，不擔心鄰居的好壞，只有你自己使用，純粹只是一種爽度可言，只要不違反主機商的 Terms，就隨你怎麼操吧。
